Experience your own “Bridge of Love”
There is a God. The Bible says that nature itself declares His existence. He created this world and everything in it, including you.
The Bible is clear that all people are the creation of God, but that not all men are His children. It says that the way that you are a child of God is if your life pleases Him. He has made a way for us to know what we must do to please Him. We have His word, the Bible.
Many men live their entire lives declaring that they believe that there is a God but they do not live their lives to please Him. The Bible says that even the demons believe that there is a God and it makes them tremble. It is not enough to simply believe that there is a God. We must do more than what a demon can do.
The word of God says that all men are sinners and are in need of a Savior. God sent His son Jesus to be this Redeemer. He died on a cross many years ago and bled His blood so that we may be saved. Saved? Saved from the judgment that God will bring against sin, wickedness and anything that does not please Him. Jesus died so that you, believing in the sacrifice He made, may be forgiven of a life of sin against God.
Believe with the Heart
The Bible says that without faith you cannot please God. In order to receive this forgiveness of your sins you must believe. That is faith. It says in Romans 10 verse 9 that if you believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and that He rose from the dead and you confess this with your mouth, you will be saved.
This requires that you believe. That you put aside your doubts, fears, pride and questions and have faith that this is God’s plan. This is His creation and these are His rules.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The Bible says this in John 3 verse 16.
This is what God offers us as forgiveness, to believe. To please Him with faith in His sacrifice. He so loved that He gave.
If you do not receive this redemption, there will be a consequence for your unforgiven sin. God is just. There is justice for he who believes, an eternity with God for your soul in Heaven. Life with God. There is justice for he who does not believe, an eternity separate from God, Hell. Your soul will exist forever in regret and the torment of this place.
Don’t question God, believe.
Take time right now and pray to God. Ask Him to forgive your sins. Tell Him that you are grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made for you and accept with your heart, mouth and life the love He has for you. Don’t continue living and deciding how you did before, repent. Live your life to please Him. He is your Creator.
- Find a church in your area that preaches the Bible, nothing else. Go there and grow in knowing God.
- Get baptized and get full of the Holy Ghost and the fire of God!
- Tell others about your life forgiven.
- Talk to God a lot and read His words, the Bible.
